a Sunday walk in Lucca

Everyday is a good day for walking in Lucca, especially in those beautiful September days.

But today was more than special because there were a lot of things to see!

First of all, the Antiques Market in the area of San Martino Church. You can find it every third week end of every mounth.. it’s a 40 years old tradition in Lucca.

In front of ‘Caffè delle Mura’ in Santa Maria bastion, some artists were inspired by the theme: ‘art and motor’. They painted their canvases looking to old, shining cars as nice ‘Fiat 500’.

In Piazza napoleone (Piazza Grande, as we call it) there’s the September market where you can find Catia Citti owner of Agriturismo Giocondo selling the goods she produces with her family.
